Madesst is a computational design practice operating at three scales — buildings, people, and objects.
The same design thinking that shapes a tower shapes a lesson plan and a lamp. Rather than three separate businesses that happen to share a name, Madesst is one methodology — parametric, algorithmic, computational — expressed in three different mediums. What began as the architecture practice of Mohamed Abdelhady has grown into a system of three connected divisions.

About Madesst.Designs
Madesst.Designs takes the studio's computational methods and points them at the scale of a room. Every lamp and object begins as a Grasshopper definition — a system of rules — tuned across dozens of variations before a single file is sent to print.
Everything is fabricated to order in the studio's Vienna workshop. No warehouse, no overstock — a piece isn't printed until someone orders it.
An architect and computational designer with over a decade of international experience at Grimshaw, DMAA (The Line / NEOM), LAVA, and Xuberance — across projects in China, Europe, and the Middle East. Master's from the Institute of Architecture (IOA) at the University of Applied Arts Vienna, Studio Hani Rashid.
The name MADESST began as an acronym — Mohamed Abdelhady DESign STudio — and has since grown into three practices sharing one computational methodology.
